Press release: Education insurance specialist Burnetts, part of SPB Group launches partnership with Apple approved reseller
Central London-based Apple Authorised Reseller and Service Provider MR Systems PLC are the latest IAR (Introducing Appointed Representative) to partner with Portsmouth based insurance specialists, Burnett & Associates.
MR Systems has been supplying Pro Media equipment and I.T support services to businesses and schools of all sizes since 1983 and is thought to be one of the oldest Apple computer dealers in the UK.
The partnership will allow the education equipment reseller to introduce insurance and warranty programmes to their clients via Burnetts, which specialise within the Education market.
Burnetts Insurance began trading in 1980, providing insured maintenance programmes for large IBM mainframe computer systems. Over the past 35 years their products have developed in response to the changing needs of their policyholders and the development of IT equipment.
The business, which was originally founded in Southampton was taken over by SPB Group in early 2010, and the business relocated to Enterprise House in Portsmouth in 2013 with group company Citymain Administrators Limited. The family owned Group provides insurance to over 50 million policyholders across Europe.
