We sincerely apologise, but due to a human error, our payment terminal was inadvertently left in test mode in our Islington branch on dates between 27th June and 14th July. Although our SumUp terminal displayed a successful payment, your card was not actually charged.
To resolve this, we kindly ask you to either come over to use our payment terminal again, or use the secure payment link we sent you via email to complete the payment online at your convenience.

We understand this may seem unusual, but we assure you this is not a scam — simply an unfortunate human error. If you believe the payment has already gone through, please forward a proof of payment (such as a bank statement) so we can investigate accordingly.
The test mode allows for all other integrations to work – that’s why you got an email saying Thank you for your payment for MR job 2xxxxx – but as noted in our payment provider’s documentation, “test accounts do not process transactions with real funds”.
