Whatever queries you have about MR or the systems we supply, we’re here to help. Here are answers to some of our most commonly asked questions – but if there’s something else you need to know, all you have to do is ask.

General FAQs

I need a repair, what are the next steps?

If you need a repair you can book in for a 20-minute Apple appointment here and select us as your service provider. You will then receive a book-in form to fill in ahead of your appointment – it’s important to complete it prior to your appointment as it will generate your 6-figure job number.

Alternatively you can use our self book-in form here to book in a drop off. We can’t guarantee an appointment for these drop offs, but will do our best to give you an estimate before you leave your device with us.

Can I show up without an appointment?

Yes, we accept walk-ins, however we have to prioritise customers who have booked an appointment. We will do our best to help you, but it might require a little patience depending on how busy we are.

How do I prepare my device for service?

For us to process a repair, your device needs to be removed from your iCloud account, and Find My Device must be turned off. This is part of Apple’s terms of service, and it will cause delays to your repair it you have not done it, as we simply can’t proceed.

We also strongly recommend that where possible you back up any data before bringing in your repair. Sometimes devices need to be erased during a repair, and whilst we will always check with you first, we cannot be held responsible for any data loss that may occur during a repair; so it’s vital that if you can back up, you do back up!

Can someone else drop off or collect my device?

Yes, no problem, just make sure they have your 6-figure job number.

Do you offer collection and delivery? 

We offer this as standard for our business customers. We are currently unable to manage this for individuals, but if you would like to arrange your own courier you can do so, just make sure to book your device in first, and include your 6-figure job number.

How can I set up a business account?

How long does a repair take?

We aim to complete the majority of iPhone repairs on the same day, and iPad repairs within 2 working days, however this is subject to availability of parts, and whether the device has been properly prepared for service.

We aim to complete the majority of Mac repairs within 3-5 working days, but it can depend on the issue, availability of parts, and whether the device has been properly prepared for service.

My repair is too expensive, what are my options? 

We understand that repairs can be expensive, and might not always be the most sensible option. We are also authorised Apple Resellers, so can get you up and running on a replacement device in no time. We will also waive your diagnostics fee, and where possible transfer any data from your old device free of charge.

I have a business account, how do I login to my portal?

You can login to your business portal here. If you are having trouble, reach out to your account manager, or send us a query.

Do you use 3rd party parts?

No, all our parts are 100% genuine Apple, ordered directly from them. We work on an exchange basis to offer better pricing and ensure responsible handling, so any replaced parts are securely returned to Apple.

Sales FAQs

How do I place an order?

If you have a business account, speak to your account manager about setting up the channel that is convenient for you (email/online store/Slack) etc.

How do I set up an account for the online store?

You can set up an account for our online store here. Simply register your email address as a new customer, and follow the steps to set up. Your account manager will be able to assist and make sure it’s tailored to your requirements.

Do you sell any brands other than Apple?

Yes, we stock thousands of IT hardware/software brands, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for in our store just send us a sales request or speak to your account manager, and we can find the right solution.

Do you offer a trade-in service?

Yes, just speak to your account manager or send us a trade-in request and we can walk you through the process. All devices are securely erased, and data destruction certificates are available on request.

Do you offer finance options?

Yes we do, you can find out more by sending us a sales request query.

When will my order arrive?

If an item’s in stock we aim to deliver the next working day. Where this is not possible your account manager can advise a rough ETA.
